Features

Every word, every verse, every time

Built for preachers, attendees, and church streaming teams who want scripture to land, and stay landed.

From spoken word to projected verse, hands-free.

Live transcription detects the verse the moment it’s quoted; voice commands like “next verse”, “switch to NLT” or “define grace” drive the screen without touching the keyboard.

Tap any word for the original language.

Strong’s number, original Greek or Hebrew, transliteration, Thayer’s lexicon and KJV occurrence count, all in one tap-open panel.

Worship sets recognised automatically.

When the band swings into the next song, the lyrics queue up, no operator scrambling between sermon and worship sets.

Four lookups, one tap.

Merriam-Webster, AI search, Webster’s 1828, Open Dictionary, pick the lens that fits the moment.

Your existing library, already synced.

Drops every song from ProPresenter, EasyWorship and FreeShow into VerseFlash automatically, no re-importing, no copy-paste.

Send the verse anywhere your AV booth needs it.

Extended display, NDI broadcast, or a popout browser window, any production tool picks it up as a source.

FAQ

Common questions

Before you download, the things people ask first.

Do I need an internet connection?

Yes. Live transcription and scripture detection both run through the cloud, so VerseFlash needs an active connection during the sermon. An offline mode is being explored for a future release.

Does it work with my existing projection software?

Yes. VerseFlash sends the live verse via NDI, a popout browser window, or a second display, picked up by ProPresenter, EasyWorship, FreeShow, OBS, Zoom, and anything else that can take an NDI feed or a window source. It also syncs your existing song library from ProPresenter, EasyWorship and FreeShow.

Which Bible translations are supported?

KJV is the canonical translation, rendered with translator-italics and the small-caps Tetragrammaton preserved as printed. NIV, NLT, ESV, NASB, NKJV, MSG, NCV, GNT, HCSB and several more can be switched in via voice command or a dropdown.

What about copyrighted worship songs?

VerseFlash doesn’t ship modern worship lyrics. It syncs from your existing licensed library in ProPresenter, EasyWorship or FreeShow, your CCLI cover and song licensing stay with the software you already use.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. The Free tier includes 3 hours of live transcription a month with full AI scripture detection, no card needed. Upgrade to Premium only when you need more hours or the pro extras.

What if I need help, or want a feature added?

Email [email protected]. Most replies go out the same day; bug reports usually get a turnaround that week.

From Ben

A personal note

I was at a service when the preacher partially quoted a verse, then began searching for the reference. The projection team was searching too, but the preacher found it after a while. Precious seconds had ticked by, and the flow of the message cut with them.

I looked at the tools already out there and wondered if I could build something with a perpetual free tier that’s actually usable, and Premium at half the industry rate.

What started as a tool for one church became a tool for any church. Built to be affordable, to sync with the tools your media team already uses, and to surface scripture the moment it’s needed, with AI doing the searching so the team doesn’t have to.

I hope you find it useful, and would be happy to hear from you if it does.
